Services:
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD.
Richard J. “Rick (Capt.) Ince, Jr., 64, of Scotland, MD died August 1, 2007 in St. Mary’s Hospital. Born Sept. 22, 1943 in Racine, WI, he was the son of Helen Joanne Ince of Hollywood, MD and the late Richard J. Ince, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Norma Gene Ince and his sons David G. Ince and John S. Ince, all of Scotland, MD. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Richard J. Ince, III. Rick moved from Wisconsin to St. Mary’s County in 1947 where he graduated from Ryken High School Class of 1962. He enlisted in the US Army and was the owner of Rick’s Marine for over 35 years. He also belonged to the Elks Lodge #2092. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD. Contributions may be made to the Ridge Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 520, Ridge, MD 20680 and/or Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 456, Ridge, MD 20680. Interment will be private. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
