Condolence: My heart is filled with sadness. I have so many found memories of David throughout the many years I knew him. He always had a smile, great laugh, life of any gathering. Loved to have a good time, a laugh, a joke to tell, or a good prank to pull.
When my dad was up at George Washington medical, my mother and I were waiting for the elevator when I heard this voice and particular laugh. I looked at my mom and said .. "can't be.. but that sure sounds like David Norris" .. sure enough, it was. I looked to my left, here come David walking around the corner. He was there because his brother was there.
We both laughed about it as I said "Heck, I can't even get out of the county without running into you." Well must have laughed about it for like seemed forever.
Once you were his friend, you were his friend for life. Now, I have no doubt that he is having a grand time in heaven, making everyone laugh and smile as he did here. I always commented to him that I never ever seen him in a bad mood. He would laugh, then say with a smile "can't afford to let the monster out, life is too good"
