Condolence From: Betty Smith
Condolence: It is with a heavy heart and have no words to relate to the sad new of the passing of Florence. I knew Florence when we both worked at the Seamanship School in Piney Point. She was a dedicated and sincere worker. I lost track of her when I retired butI remember her as being very friendly and very helpful. My prayers go out to the family at this sad time. May the Lord wrap his strong arms around the them at this time and may they find comfort in knowing that the Lord has called her home to be with Him. May she rest in peace

Condolence: Tommy and family, I had the privilege of working with Florence for many years at Lundeberg School. She always kept a big smile and truly put others ahead of herself. Indeed, she did bake the best cakes and loved sharing them. I know how difficult it is to have lost such a special lady; just remember she will always remain in your thoughts and in your hearts. My prayers and deepest sympathy to you all.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Ms. Whitten's family. I was so blessed to have known her. From the first time we met, we became instant friends. Her beautiful smile and she had such a kind heart. She was always caring about others. I always looked forward to her wonderful talks. She made the most delicious cakes, Texas fudge and crab cakes! It was such a treat when she made them for me and my family. I am truly going to miss you my Dearest Friend. I will always carry my fond memories of You in my Heart and especially the last words you said to me
"I Love You"! RIP Beautiful Angel!

Condolence: I feel privileged and blessed to have known Ms. Whitten. She was a beautiful, caring and generous person. She shared so much of herself with others. Everyone she came in contact with could feel the warmth and experience the sweetness of her spirit. She always took time to listen to the needs of others. She will be dearly missed, as will her delicious cakes, which she often shared with as many as she could. Ms. Whitten, may you rest in peace, my dear angel!
