Condolences

Condolence From: Jimmy Hall
Condolence: Today is a day I have dreaded my entire life! I had the pleasure of growing up in Uncle Donnie and Aunt Rosies house, being under his feet at the shop, running from the trailer behind the shop (where they lived for a while) to the shop to see him, fishing on the bay in the big boat getting fish so big they almost pulled me over to looking back at him laughing so hard at my struggles! Lol He took us on the best vacations any kid could ever imagine! Most kids only have one set of parents or none but I grew up with two sets! I LOVED HIM JUST LIKE MY DAD! And he treated me like his son! Love was never an issue you always felt it with him right to the end! He will always and forever be “My Uncle Donnie” as I was there to the very end! Rest In Peace and I Will Always Love You! “

Condolence From: Ed & Diane Aud Carroll
Condolence: Donnie was generous and lived his life exactly as he wanted. He was blessed with a wonderful marriage to his beloved Rosie. He worked many years at his business. Retirement never slowed him down. He would call to let us know he had crabs/fish for us. Donnie was generous and humble. His nephews and nieces wanted for nothing. He had a place in West Virginia and his family took time to enjoy the hunting and solitude it offered. For the most part, he enjoyed every day if his life. He fought a hard battle and I am sure that he often thought of his life. Although humble, he knew he had led a good life and hopefully very proud of him self. He is in heaven now. The Lord will take good care of him. Prayers to Rosie and the family

Condolence: I didn't know Mr. Carroll but for a few words here and there. I lived on Cedar Lane off and on for a few years; the Carroll's lived further down the road. What I remember and liked about him was that he ALWAYS smiled and waved when he drove by and with that he made it feel like a neighborhood rather then houses separated by large lots. My sincere condolences to his family, Mr. Carroll was a really nice man.
