William "Billy" Lawrence Young, 49, of Mechanicsville, MD died on October 14, 2004 in Mechanicsville, MD. Born July 12, 1955 in Washington, DC he was the loving son of Thelma Ward Young of Waldorf, MD and Allen Bryan Young of Las Vegas, NV. He was the loving husband of Janet Lorraine Young whom he married on September 18, 1992. He is survived by his daughter Rena Young of Calvert County, MD; Sisters and Brother Linda K. Johnston of Clinton, MD, TJ Green of Mechanicsville, MD, Lynn A. Young, Johnny B. Young, and Russell A. Young all of Waldorf, MD. Mr. Young attended Largo High School and moved to Charles County in June of 1990. He owned BJ's Towing and Transport which tows, transports and recovers vehicles. He loved to do mechanical work on vehicles and equipment. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18 from 5 â?? 8 PM with Prayers being said at 7 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 19 at 10 AM in St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Schukraft officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's United Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lynn A. Young, Johnny B. Young, Sr., Johnny B. Young, Jr., Chris Johnston, Christopher Johnston and Russell A. Young.
