  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation:
  Viewing & Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 2 - 5 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 3 PM
  Mary Elsie Allgood, 99, of Great Mills, MD formerly of Morganza, MD died November 15, 2005 in Bayside Care Center. Born August 30, 1906 in Morganza, MD she was the daughter of the late George Webster and Eleanor Payne Knott Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband John Edward Allgood, Sr. in 1962. She is survived by her son: John Edward Allgood, Jr. of Great Mills, MD; 2 grandchildren: Judith Allgood Thomas and Jaclyn Lynette Shaw and 5 great grandchildren. She was the sister of: Gladys Knott Raley, Eunice Knott Long, Joseph Adrian Johnson, Virginia Johnson Williams, Francis X. Johnson, Eleanor Johnson Hockman and G. Thomas Johnson. Mrs. Allgood was a life long St. Mary's County resident. The family received friends on Sunday, November 20, 2005 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, November 21, 2005 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph Johnson, John Allgood, Anthony Supensky, Roy Wetzel, Jeff Dyson and Gary Thomas. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
