"I was very sad to hear of Janet's passing. She was a wonderful, outgoing person, - friendly to everyone. She did a great job, and always tried to help anyone who called her from the courts. She was most generous in both spirit and giving of her time and energy, even making special treats for us in the office at holiday time, as if we were family. She cared deeply for her real family, and spoke of them often. We will all think of her often. My deepest condolences to her family. Merle Halpern (co-worker) "

"Steve and Family, You know how much both of you mean to me. We've known each other for so long and shared some good times together. I will miss Janet so much. She was my best friend. I could go and talk to her about anything. Physically she is not here to touch and hold but in my heart she will always remains. She showed us how we should all love and take care of one another. She loved her family dearly. You can never put it into words. She talked about everyone everyday and it was always something positive. I thank God so much for all of the wonderful times we spent together. Please keep in touch. We are here to support you in any way we can. Love Always - Paula Godwin (co-worker) "

"Janet was the best kind of person: Honest, funny, and giving. She was known within the court family for her generous heart, and a outlook on problems and issues that I still miss. I thank God I knew her, and did not miss the unique experience that was unrepeatable as knowing Janet. May she rest in peace, and rise in glory."
