"Saddened by the news of Hazel's death roused countless memories of my yesteryears. Sponsored and inspired by Irving and Hazel, Take It Easy Ranch women's softball team attained the coveted state and county championships. In the course of all the celebrations (and I mean we really knew how to celebrate), I have never forgotten the look of pride we put on Hazels face. She was as genuine and sincere as she was generous and caring. Almost thirty years later, I Thank you Hazel, for all that you did and for the precious memories we will always share. I only wish I had thought to thank you sooner. "
