Guestbook Signatures and Condolences

"Cass, Jerry, Gail, and Nancy. Bud is no doubt now in Gods kingdom and for sure arrived with many rewards for all of the kind things he did for so many here on earth. I have so many countless memories of all of us being together as families and Bud was certainly like a Dad to us as well. One of the things I clearly remember is when the Gibson gang would come down to visit the Purdy gang on and Bud would say "OK, Taxie is leaving" and sometimes an hour or two hours later Cass and Mom would still be talking and us kids still having fun and Bud would be sitting in the car still saying "Ok, Taxie is leaving"... Bud was such an easy going guy, a wonderful father but most of all, a true Gentleman. I'm sure he and Mom are making sure that all of us here are being looked after and Mom is probably fixing him a few of those burned hot dogs that he liked so well. Cass and the family, Be Strong and put all of your trust and faith in God and he will get you through this tough time. Jim Purdy, Nashville Tennessee"

"Grammy, Gail, Cassie, Ben, Miranda, & Family, We too miss "Daddy Bud" very much as he like all of you is just like family to us. We enjoyed our visits with him just talking on the porch while he watched the birds at the feeders or sitting and chatting while he held and played with Cinnamon. He was one of the people that helped us weather the cancer treatment days as in talking with him we knew he really understand what it was like to deal with a health crisis. He was like a grandfather to Jamie Leigh, Alex, and Tina. He was a very special person. His pain is over and he can now truly rest as he is welcomed and held in the arms of our Lord. He is now watching over all us the same as always but now he has a much better view. Our deepest sympathy to you all and know that our prayers are with you through each step in this difficult time. May all of the memories of what a wonderful person he was give you strength and comfort. "Daddy Bud we love you and we will all see you someday again when our Lord calls us home until then we carry you with us each and every day in our hearts." All Our Love, Nancy, Jay, Jamie Leigh, Alex, and Tina "
