"I was so saddened to hear the news of Uncle Charles passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. I have so many fond memories of him and the visits to his home. His house always had the sound of love and happiness and the genuine caring of all around him (not to mention all the screaming kids that he never seemed to mind). I loved him dearly. Thank you Uncle Charles for all you have given me. Love to you all, Barbara Clements Cummings"

"Dear family, It breaks my heart that I can't be there for the services--I am just as forlorn as you all must be right now over Pop's passing. God bless him--he served the Lord well when he was alive, and is no doubt serving him just as well now in Heaven."

"Dearest Family, I always told myself that when my favorite Uncle passed I would be there and now I find myself unable to be there for my family. Health reasons about my husband. I love all of you dearly and miss you and think of you often. God Bless all of you and I pray in this solemn hour you find peace. The memories of childhood at your house will be with me always and I treasure them above all others. I love you! Susan Clements Cowan"

He always called me Brenda Lee and I just loved hearing him say it. He was truely a wonderful Uncle and I will miss him greatly. I know he is in heaven with Mom and they are sitting on her porch at her beautiful cottage talking about the good old times. Now we have another Angel in heaven to watch over us.
