"To Tommy, Bobby, Sissy, Sandy, Mary, Wayne, Ann, Joe, Ray,and especially to the other head of the family, your mother, Teresa.(oh and you grandkids,and your kids.) I was so sorry to hear of George passing away. I had been meaning to stop by and pay a visit at cedar lane but I just kept putting it off thinking I had forever to do so. The last time I saw George was in the food lion parking lot, over a year ago I guess. We chatted mostly about how times are changing. He seemed to be in fairly good spirits. Only recently did I find out about his declining health. One of my recollections of him was when he drove a schoolbus. I was a 'walker' at Fr. Andrew White with a keen interest in the bus. He asked me did I want to ride the bus one afternoon, and on the Medleys Neck route I did go. Nothing remarkable happened, but just the thrill of riding on the bus at that time was something I didn't forget.and cards?! Don't even mention it, I think he'd rather play than eat,...wait a minute.. I think I just heard him.. "bid two"!! May he rest in peace."
