The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leigh Pickell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Pickell Family

I'm so sorry for your loss. I never got to know Leigh as well as I knew Arlene and Thelma but always heard good things. So difficult to lose someone dear. Know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Leigh, you were our neighbor for 22 years, and, you were a good neighbor. Always a smile on your face, a listening ear, and a kind word. You visited us when our son passed away, and we needed that visit in a time of despair. You will be missed old friend.

Condolence From: Thelma Pickell Cusic
Condolence: Leigh you were the best brother a person can have. We had such good parents who loved us deeply as I love you and Arlene. I can remember all the good times on Summit Avenue, Quarryville , Pa. especially going sledding down the hill. Then when we moved to Maryland and I got a new bicycle and you rode it into St George's creek. I was so mad at you. Then when we moved to Leonardtown playing ball with you on Duke Street. We had a few disagreements but love was always there. I will miss you greatly and always love you. FLY HIGH WITH THE EAGLES. Love, Thelma
