Annie Christine Fenwick
Annie Christine Fenwick, 90, of Park Hall, MD, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2019 in Waldorf, Maryland. She was born on November 1, 1928 to the late James Cornelius and Julia Dorothy Courtney (Goldring). She was united in holy matrimony to Nelson Fenwick in 1946.

She was a faithful member of Park Hall True Holiness Church under the late Bishop John Clifton, the late Pastor Richard Sawyer and the present pastor, Bishop Philip Spence Sr. where she served on the Senior Choir and worked in the kitchen ministry until moving to Angel Assisting Living, LLC in Waldorf, Maryland due to her health. When she had her health and strength, you would always find her cooking family favorite meals including macaroni and cheese smothered with stewed tomatoes, fried chicken and homemade cakes.
Christine was educated in St. Mary’s County. She was a domestic engineer aka housewife. It was a full time job where she took care of her husband, raised all of her children and watched her grand-children.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband Nelson and her two sons William and Robert Fenwick.
In addition, Christine was preceded in death by her siblings, Cornelius, Andrew, Frank, Columbus and Clyde Courtney as well as Mary Smith, Lottie Dove and Doris Ratchford.

Christine leaves to cherish her memory ten children: Anne (Otha) Spence, Alice (David) Crosse, Evelyn Johnson, Betty (Thomas) Lewis, Edward (Regina) Fenwick, Rose (Charles) Griggs, Sharon Fenwick, Dorothy Fenwick, Mark (Lisa), and Roland (Brittany) Fenwick. She is survived by her loving sister, Agnes (Robert) Thomas as well as her brother in-law, Howard Young and sisters-in-law, Mary Dyson, Evelyn Thomas, and Alice Countess. She also cherishes her memory to 35 grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and 23 great great-grandchildren. Christine was also surrounded by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and best friend, Edna Bolt-Barnes.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in The True Holiness Church Park Hall, MD, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Bishop Phillip Spence and Rev. James Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
