Condolence: McCurdy Family,
I am so shocked and stunned to hear of Mike's passing this morning. I just saw him a month or so ago and he had that big smile on his face as always. Mike and I knew each other from NAVAIR and several training courses through the years. His love of his family was always evident as we shared stories of our children and spouses. I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of such a great man. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Condolence: Dear McCurdy family we are still in disbelief that Mike has passed and we ache for your loss. Mike and I met in PMA 265 and hit it off immediately and then we found out we had so much in common with our family and kids. We cherish all the times we got to spend with the McCurdy family. We looked so forward to visiting Mike, Deb and Kathryn when we came up for Christmas from Alabama every year it was just so great to catch up and visit with such great people. I will remember forever Disney with our two families and all the visits and lunches and dinners. RIP in peace Big Guy and I am a better person for getting to call you my friend for life. Love from all of us here to the McCurdy family.

Condolence: Dear Kathryn, I will always have a memory of your father when he brought you in for an interview at the Ye Olde Towne Café. You were nice and calm and he was so nervous for you... should I stay... should I go.. twitching. I remember you and I looking at each other and just smiling. I will always remember that special moment he was so nervous due to the love for his daughter. Kathryn, we send our condolences from all at the Café to you and your family. May God embrace each of you in his loving arms and all others who are grieving the loss. May his great wings of love give your broken heart a rest and comfort you with a glimpse of eternity. May your Dad rest in peace and his spirit soar high and beautifully.

Condolence: Debbie, I just learned of Mike’s passing yesterday and was in complete shock, as we had just bumped into each other at a Lacrosse game a few weeks ago! Mike looked great...but as we know too well, each day is a gift. How true that is! My heart hurts for you and Mike’s children. Pleased to say my last memory of Mike was with a big smile on his face as we talked about your beautiful daughter’s plans for college after she graduates in a few weeks! Much love and sympathy to you Debbie! Keeping you and the children in my prayers! Love, Betty
