James Alexander Courtney “House Mouse”, 61, of Lexington Park, MD formerly from Loveville, MD passed away on October 17, 2019. Born on February 8, 1958 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of Barbara A. Courtney of Mechanicsville, MD and the late Charles W. Goldring.
James is survived by his siblings Francis Bell, Monica Tyler (Joseph), Calvin Bell, Jacqueline Bell, Craig Norton, and Andre Courtney. He was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident. James was a construction worker for Jack Mattingly, Inc. for 28 years.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM with Pastor Michael Barber officiating. Interment will be private.
