Jeffrey “Jeff” Howard McDonald,52, of California, MD passed away on June 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1967 in Norfolk, VA and was the loving son of Elizabeth A. McDonald of California, MD and the late Robert L. McDonald. Jeff is survived by his sons Ian McDonald of Hollywood, MD, Garrett McDonald of Bushwood, MD and his sister Sue M. Kezios of Wilmington, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael McDonald.


Jeff graduated from Great Mills High School in Great Mills, MD. He was self employed as a master carpenter. Jeff enjoyed working alongside his cousin Patrick Norris. He loved to play music with his friends, especially Danny Carroll. Jeff loved babies and his two sons, Ian and Garrett were the joy of his life. He loved fossil hunting with Ian along Drum Cliffs. Jeff loved his mother and planned to make a home for her on the water. He loved hunting and four wheeling. Jeff grew up around the water and loved nature. He loved going out on the boat and even built his own skiff. Jeff tried his hardest to be the best father and son he could be.
