Margaret Cecelia Rose, 78, of Bushwood, MD formerly from Accokeek, MD passed away on December 6, 2020 in Great Mills, MD. She was born on October 10, 1942 in Washington, DC to the late Gertrude Valentine and Elwood Valentine. Margaret was the loving wife of the late Milton Carl Rose whom she married in 1960 in Upper Marlborough, MD and who preceded her in death on February 1, 2018. Margaret is survived by her children Donna Rose of Bushwood, MD and Diana Rose of Waldorf, MD. She was preceded in death by her siblings Dolores Hestdalen and Susan Byrd.

She graduated from Gwynn Park High School in 1958. Margaret moved from Accokeek, MD in 1974 to St. Mary’s County, MD.

Margaret was a real estate agent for Long and Foster Reality for 30 years, retiring in 2006. Later in life she was a goat farmer in Upper Hard Bargain Acres for 40 years.
