Condolence From: WALTER GARDINER
Condolence: Dearest Jackie!!! Can’t believe you have left us, though I knew this day would come. Thank you for all the times you made me laugh - almost always! You had such a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Your beautiful gardens were a wonderful reflection of all the color and joy you brought to this world. You and your beloved Douglas raised up some remarkable children in Doug, Susan, Kathy, Tom, Jack, and Duke, and together with their spouses, gave you 10 precious grandchildren, who were the source of so much joy in your golden years. They are the lasting legacy you have left behind. Our families are forever united through the marriage of Douglas’s grandfather Thomas Holdsworth Bond and my great aunt, Sarah Adelaide Briscoe – one of my greatest treasures!! Thank you for your friendship to my parents, Jack and Lou (Briscoe) Gardiner, in the years you all lived on Half Pone Farm in Hollywood amongst my Briscoe family, especially in their declining years when you would visit them, light up their home with stories of your adventures, and bring them the Blessed Eucharist of our Lord. I know there were many “Limoncello Moments” through the years with my parents, other family members and friends. I was truly blessed to enjoy a number of these “LMs” along with breakfast at Bob Evans with your children and grandchildren after I moved to the County in May 2016. I pass by your house on St. Cuthbert Farm Road a couple times a day and think of you and your beloved family and all the good times we shared. Thanks for the memories. Rest in peace gentle spirit. Walt

Condolence: Jackie was somethin ! I was aware of her on base but never really knew her until several years of Square Dancing in the Aqua Squares Club which she enjoyed so much. She had a strong tendency to say anything and I must admit she was usually right. So glad to have known her & we will miss her. Sincere condolences to her family.
