Amber Marie Buttery, 48, of Great Mills, MD, formerly of Waldorf MD, passed away on May 26, 2021 in Waldorf, MD. She was born on January 4, 1973 in Berlin, Germany to Marlena Coons of Waldorf, MD and the late Phillip Coons. Amber was the loving wife of the late Ronald Buttery, whom she married on July 7, 2007 in White Plains, MD, and who preceded her in death on December 2, 2020. Amber is survived by her siblings Bobby Mickelinc of Johns Island, S.C. and Caitlin Coons of Waldorf, MD, along with her aunt, Ginny Cavenaugh of Fitchburg, WI and her niece, Averie Croson of Waldorf, MD.

Amber graduated from LaPlata High School in 1992, and moved to St. Mary’s County in 2007 from Waldorf, MD. She enjoyed dancing, singing, socializing with family and friends, and going to church.
