Obituary for Peggy Jean Sullivan
Peggy Jean Sullivan, 79, of Lexington Park, MD, formerly of Washington, GA, passed away on July 2, 2021 in Lexington Park, MD. Born on June 14, 1942 in Marion, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ella Wheeler and Henry Wise Wheeler. Peggy was the loving wife of the late John Sullivan. She is survived by her son Richard Sullivan of California, MD, her siblings James Wheeler of Millersville, MD and Patsy King of Washington, GA, grandsons Richard “Scooter” Sullivan, Jr. (Teresa), Robert “Robbie” Edward Sullivan, Sr. (Kristin), and Ryan “Lil Sully” Patrick Sullivan, and great-grandchildren Valentina, Camila, and Robert “SJ” Edward Sullivan, Jr.
Peggy moved to St. Mary’s County in 2018 from Washington, GA, and worked as a Human Resource Manager for Marriott Credit Union for 25 years, retiring in 2007.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Braddock Hall- BDVFD, Lexington Park, MD with Porter Lawson officiating.
