Deborah “Marlene” Norris, 57, of Leonardtown, MD, passed away on June 7, 2022 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on May 19, 1965, she was the daughter of Marjorie Elizabeth Quade and the late John Michael Klear, as well as her stepfather, Bobby Quade. Marlene was the loving wife of Jay Bowles, whom she married on March 10, 2017 in Leonardtown, MD. She is survived by her children Lindsey Norris of Leonardtown, MD and Brennan Norris of Leonardtown, MD, as well as her siblings Mike Klear and Robby Quade, both of Leonardtown, MD.

Marlene was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident, and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1983. She was self-employed as a hairdresser/cosmetologist at Marlene’s Hair Salon for over 35 years. Marlene was a member of the Leonardtown Fire Department Auxiliary and the Leonardtown Rescue Squad Auxiliary.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in Our Lady’s Church at Medley’s Neck, Leonardtown, MD, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Father David Beaubien as celebrant and Father John Nguyen as con-celebrant. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Serving as pallbearers will be Brennan Norris, Paul Klear, Mike Klear, Trevor Guy, Tyler Guy, and Robby Quade.
