Obituary for Steve Alexander Gatton Jr.
Steve Alexander Gatton, Jr., 51, of Hollywood, MD, passed away on November 14, 2022 at his home. Born on August 22, 1971 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Ruth Ann Gatton and the late Steve Alexander Gatton, Sr. Steve was the loving husband of Christina L. “Chrissy” Gatton, whom he married on August 9, 1991 in Leonardtown, MD. He is survived by his children Steve Alexander Gatton III "Alex" and his wife, Courtney of Hollywood, MD and Jocelyn D. Gatton of Prince Frederick, MD, his brother Dale Gatton (Becky) of Lusby, MD, and one grandchild, Dawson Alexander Gatton.
Steve was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident and graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1989. He was a security guard at SOMD Relief. Steve loved being with his family, especially his wife, children, and grandson. He enjoyed cooking on his grill, working his yard, landscaping, and watching his buddy, Jeff, out the window. Steve was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan and a medical cannabis advocate.
