One of the very first memories at her house was "freedom" to me. At my Mom and Dad's we ate at the table every single night at 5:00 pm together. I remember one of the 1st time's staying overnight at your house and her letting us eat our dinner in Veronica's bedroom. I felt so free. I knew that moment I loved your home. Condolence: I will always remember Maria's greetings to me. She was always exceedingly but so genuinely sweet and kind. She spent a great deal of time at my house while I was growing up and a young adult as she frequently recovered our chairs and sewed our curtains. She was so talented. She would always tell me stories while she worked and had a soothing, loving way about her. I would often sit with her for hours. I wish I was closer so I could say goodbye to her but I will tell her in my dreams and my heart. She will never be forgotten. My deep condolences to her family.
