Condolence: Oh I am so sorry but so grateful also that John and I stayed in touch over the years and he was always so upbeat and positive no matter his malady’s. Of course, his family and ours shared many memories from when we were.young. My dad Horace was his dad’s older brother and life wasn’t always easy for them. They did share so many genetic heart issues, my dad passing at age 47. So grateful for our HS reunion encounters! I could still find their house. And his mother was a saint! Blessings to you all

Condolence: Barbara and family, I could really kick my butt as I thought of Johnny so many times through the years away from Md and I would come across his phone number and say "I really need to call" but like most of us before this virus hit we always thought we had plenty of time. Now we realize how precious our time with family and friends is. I know he knew there was always a friend bond there. He was such a great human being and always had something good to say. He would make your day good no matter how bad it started out. I will miss him and am so terribly sorry for your deep loss. Barbara, it was so good to talk to you on the phone the other day and I promise you this, it will not be years before I call and check in with you again. I hope the many years of great and funny memories of Johhny get you through this time now when it is the hardest, and know he and you have tons of friends out here praying and keeping you in our thoughts. If you ever need an ear, you have my number and I hope you'll use it. Rest In peace, my dear and faithful friend. You will surely be missed.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to John's family. I met John in 1972 when I was stationed at Pax he was in the shop next to me. John always seemed to have a smile on his face. After I got out of the Navy in 1974 I would still see him once or twice a year around town and he still had that smile even though I knew he was having Serious health problems. May he rest in peace.
