Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Father Ray Schmidt officiating. Interment will be Private. Visitation: A Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2005 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. David Allen Brooks, Sr., 43 of Hollywood, MD died June 29, 2005 in Hollywood, MD. Born August 21, 1961 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of the late Franklin Henry and Mary Blanche Heard Brooks. He was the loving husband of Shirley Ann Norris Brooks whom he married on April 25, 1990 in St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Hollywood. He is survived by his children: David Allen Brooks, Jr., Justin DeWayne Norris and Steven Allen Brooks all of Hollywood; brothers and sisters: James Franklin Brooks, Margrett A. Brooks and Peggy J. Tippett all of Leonardtown; Marvin Henry Brooks and Charles Michael Brooks both of Hollywood; John Walter Brooks of Mechanicsville and Mary Patricia Parker of Lusby; and two grandsons: David A. Brooks, III and Dylan M. Brooks both of Hollywood. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister: Joseph Patrick Brooks, Richard Wayne Brooks and Mary Helen Brooks. Mr. Brooks was a local business owner for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and frequent trips to the Shenandoah Mountains. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2, 2005 from 10:00 â?? 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Father Ray Schmidt officiating.
