Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11AM in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD with Fr. Joseph Sileo officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: Viewing and Visitation will be Monday, February 6, 2006 from 6PM till 8PM with prayers at 7PM in Holy Face Catholic Church, Great Mills, MD. Ruby Josephine Dobry, 83 of Lexington Park, MD, formerly of Perryville, Kentucky, died February 3, 2006 in St. Mary's Hospital. Born February 10, 1922 she was the daughter of the late John Colson and Laura Tuggle Moss. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Oliver Dobry on May 3, 1989, whom she married on March 8, 1944 in Lexington, KY. She is survived by her children Brenda Patterson of Forest Hill, MD, Thomas E. and John K. Dobry both of Great Mills, MD; sister Elsie Myers of Louisville, KY; 3 grandchildren Thomas, III, Bambi and James. Mrs. Dobry was also preceded in death by her sister Lucille Moss and brother Chris Paris. Mrs. Dobry moved to St. Mary's County in 1949 from Baltimore, MD. She was a homemaker and belonged to the Ladies of Charity of Holy Face Church. Her hobby was telephoning friends. The family received friends on Monday, February 6, 2006 in Holy Face Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, February 7, 2006, in Holy Face Catholic Church with Father Joseph Sileo officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Dobry, Jr, John Dobry, Thomas Dobry, III, James Dobry, Joseph Miesowitz, and Paul Howey. Honorary Pallbearers were Michael Dobry, Steve Miesowitz, Brian Miesowitz, Robbie Dobry, Patrick Miesowitz, Michael Myers and Ricky Miesowitz. Contributions may be made to Lexington Park Vol. Rescue Squad, P.O. 339, Lexington Park, MD 20653. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A.
