Ralph Milburn, 81 of Lexington Park, MD died February 27, 2006 in Bethesda Naval Hospital. Born May 29, 1924 in White Hall, VA he was the son of the late Opal Milburn. He is survived by his wife Doris M. Milburn whom he married on May 26, 1947 in Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by his children: Sharyn M. Abbott of Alexandria, VA, Gary W. Milburn of Hollywood, MD, Richard L. Milburn of Dumfries, VA, James H. Milburn of Lexington Park, MD and Michael G. Milburn of Key West, FL; brothers and sisters: Evelyn Sargent and Shelva Jean Jackson both of Winchester, VA and Glen Shade and family of Ransom, WV. He moved to St. Mary's County in 1963 from Newport, RI. He worked as a Supply Manager for Patuxent River. He entered into the Navy in 1941 and served for 20 years until his retirement in 1967 where he was stationed at Holyoke, MS; Newport, RI, Norfolk, VA, and served in WWII, Vietnam and Korea. He enjoyed woodworking, reading and gardening. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 1:00 PM in Arlington National Cemetery.
