Visitation: A Public Visitation will be held from 6 - 7 PM on Tuesday, August 17 in the funeral home. John Leon Higgs, Jr., 70, of Leonardtown, MD died on August 11, 2004 at his home in Leonardtown. Born September 29, 1933 in Compton, MD, he was the son of John Leon and Helen Victoria Pilkerton Higgs and the husband of Joan Ritchie Higgs. A full obituary will appear at a later date.
