Services: A Funeral Services will be held at The Gospel Tabernacle Church in Clements, MD on Tuesday, September 14 at 10 AM with Elder William E. Williams officating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Public Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14 from 9 - 10 AM in The Gospel Tabernacle Church in Clements, MD. Edna "Sissy" Cecelia Johnson 71, of Chaptico, MD died in St. Mary's Hospital on September 9, 2004. Born January 6, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Catherine Louise Baker and James Richard Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Joseph Johnson in November of 2001. She is survived by her children Charles Henry Hall of Mill Point Shores, MD, Rebecca D. Tyer of Longview Beach, MD, James L. Hall and Bobby R. Hall both of Lexington Park, MD, Willie S. Hall of Great Mills, MD, Valerie M. Hall of Hermansville, MD and Martha E. Tate of Lusby, MD, Sisters Geraldine P. Miles of Chaptico, MD, Jennifer M. Thomas of Longview Beach, MD and Brother Bart T. Hall of Lusby, MD and also by 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline C. Tyer. Mrs. Johnson attended Banneker High School and was a life long St. Mary's County resident. She worked as a Nurse's Aide in St. Mary's Hospital. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14 from 9 â?? 10 AM in The Gospel Tabernacle Church in Clements, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM with Elder William E. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ernie Miles, Lamarr Hall, Advian Baker, Michael Thomas, Jr., James Leroy Hall, Jr. and Charles Henry Hall, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Travis Hall, Phillip Tyer, Oscar Tyer, Jr. and Patrick Scriber.
