A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Saturday, November 13 at 10:00 AM in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in St. Marys City with Rev. Damian Shadwell officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation:
Public Viewing will be held in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church in St. Marys City on Friday, November 12 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM with prayers being said at 7:00 PM.
Mary Madeline Cullison, 87, of Lexington Park, MD died November 10, 2004 in Lexington Park, MD. Born July 14, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Leo Edward and Julia Ada Pegg Ridgell. She was the wife of the late Leo Vincent Cullison. She is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Norris of Hollywood, MD; Catherine Ada Ridgell, Robert (Butch) Cullison, and Leona Madeline Beyer of Ridge, MD. and 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mildred Carroll of Hyattsville, MD and a brother, John Ridgell of Clements, MD. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen E. Angel; her sisters, Myrtle Mayor, Susette Dunbar, Viola Carroll, Bertha Bradburn and Edna Carroll and her brothers, Theodore Ridgell and Leon Ridgell. Mrs. Cullison was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of St. Mary's County who enjoyed playing bingo and cards and was a member of the Senior Citizens Group. Prayers will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 12, 2004 in St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, St. Mary's City, MD where the family will receive friends from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2004 in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Cullison will be Tommy Cullison, Robbie Angle, Kevin Angle, Tony Ridgell, Mike Ridgell and Clyde Ridgell. Honorary pallbearers will be David Ridgell and Ricky Norris. Contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, P. O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650 and/or Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 339, Lexington Park, MD.
