Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 18 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Keith A. Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 18 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Bernice Yvonne Walton, 46, of Great Mills, MD died February 11, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. Born February 12, 1958 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Mary Frances Brooks and Thad Gant. She is survived by her children, Joseph Daren Brooks, Kevin Jerome Walton, Christopher Kendell Walton and Travis Jermaine Walton all of Great Mills, MD. She is also survived by her brothers, Paul Brooks of Dentville, MD and Tyrone Brooks of Lexington Park, MD and her sister, Sharon Brooks of Great Mills, MD. and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Brooks. Ms. Walton was a life-long St. Mary's County resident and a graduate of Chopticon High School, Class of 1975-1976. She was employed as a housekeeper in St. Mary's Nursing Home for 13 years. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Keith Woods, will be celebrated on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morganza, MD where the family will receive visitors from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
