Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 AM in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 22800 Washington Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650 Visitation: Viewing and Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from 5PM till 8PM with a prayer service at 7PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel James A. "Floogie" Clements, 66, of Leonardtown, MD, died June 24, 2005 in Washington, D.C. Born September 10, 1938 he was the son of the late James Vernon and Gwynette Tucker Clements. He is survived by his wife, Rose Theresa Klear Clements, whom he married in St. Aloysius Church on March 12, 1960 and his children, James Vernon Clements and Shirley Marie Guy of Leonardtown, MD, Debra Ann Johnson of Bushwood, MD and Mary Ellen Watts of Hollywood, MD and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Ethel Marie Garner of California, MD. Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his son, John Michael Clements. He was a life-long resident of St. Mary's County and was employed as a mechanic for the Architect of the Capitol. Mr. Clements enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating in his spare time. The family received friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Aloysius Church in Leonardtown, MD with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for Mr. Clements will be Joseph Bean, Jimmy Simpkins, Robbie Gibson, Tom Dougherty, Frank Long and Donald Goddard.
