Services: Funeral Services will be Friday, September 2, 2005 at 2 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD. Visitation: Viewing and Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2005 from 1 PM till 2 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, 41590 Fenwick Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Avey Louise Haley, 77, of Hollywood, MD died August 30, 2005 in Leonardtown, MD. Born October 9, 1927 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Mary Catherine Burch. She was the loving wife of Harold L. (Hal) Haley whom she married on January 29, 1981 in LaPlata, MD. She is survived by her children: Jesse S. Gatton, James F. Gatton, Ronnie B. Gatton and Robert P. Gatton all of Mechanicsville, MD; Sister Emily Minsky of Port St. Lucy, FL; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Helen Clark. Ms. Haley was a life long St. Mary's County resident where she loved to fish, crochet, play bingo, cook and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2005 from 1:00 â?? 2:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM with Father Keith Woods officiating, Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Francis Gatton, Jr., Robert Paul Gatton, Jr., Ronnie Arron Gatton, Paul Siebert Haley, Matthew Norris Haley and J. Patrick Haley,II.
