Services: A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 22 in the family home. Interment followed in Hertzler Cemetery Visitation: Public Viewing was held until 7 PM in the family home on Friday, October 21 Jacob D. Hertzler, 29 of Mechanicsville, MD died October 19, 2005 in Charlotte Hall, MD. Born February 5, 1976 he was the son of Samuel S. and Hannah Stoltzfus Hertzler. He was the husband of Salome Y. Hertzler whom he married in the home of John Esh on November 6, 1997. He is survived by his children: Emma, Simeon, Levi and Solomon all of Mechanicsville, MD; brothers and sisters: Elam of VA, Eli of WI, Isaac of NY, Lena, Henry, Joseph, Sadie, Lydia, Abner, Tobias and Samuel all of Mechanicsville, MD. Mr. Hertzler was a life long St. Mary's County resident where he was a farmer. The family received friends in the family home on Friday, October 21, 2005. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 22, 2005 in the family home. Interment followed in Hertzler Cemetery. Pallbearers were Reuben Kuntz, Roy Stoltzfus, Stephen Swarey and Elam Stoltzfus.
