Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 2 at 10:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church with Father Ron Potts officiating and Father Ray Schmidt co-officiating. Interment will follow in Joy Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: Viewing/Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with Prayers being said at 7:00 PM Patricia Lynn "Trisha" Ely, 41, of Hollywood, MD died February 25, 2006 in Georgetown University Hospital. Born August 30, 1964 in Leonardtown, MD, she is survived by her mother Donna Lee Knott and step-father John R. Knott, Jr. and father Ronald William Ely and step-mother Pritzi Ely and maternal grandmother Lillian Smith. She is also survived by her brothers Michael W. Ely of Nashville, TN and Mark A. Ely of Richmond, VA. Ms. Ely was a lifelong St. Mary's County resident where she was a graduate of St. Mary's Ryken High School, Class of 1982. She was employed at the St. Mary's Nursing Center as an Accounts Payable Clerk. She enjoyed making "special" things for and caring for friends and family. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting and gardening. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.
