Services: A Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM in St. George's Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD with Father Mark Ervin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: Viewing & Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2006 in St. George's Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Ann Marie Maddox, 50, of Valley Lee, MD died January 15, 2006 in Bayview Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born December 6, 1955 in Leonardtown, MD she was the daughter of Joseph Thomas and the late Annie Veronica Berry Lawrence. She was the loving wife of George Vernon Maddox whom she married in St. George's Catholic Church on July 10, 1993. She is survived by her children Cheree Lawrence and Michael Lawrence both of Valley Lee, MD, and step-son George "Al" Maddox, Jr. of Great Mills and one grandchild. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Jo Ann Lawrence, Lucille Lawrence and Irving Lawrence all of Valley, MD, Shirley Lawrence and Leo Mugg both of Great Mills, MD; Bernice MacKall of Lusby, MD and Joseph Berry of Mechanicsville, MD; 10 sister-in-laws: Joyce, Donna, Jacqueline, Rosie, Gail Maddox, Barbara Neale, Linda Allen, Mary (Irene) Clark, Doris Farmer and Phyllis Stephenson; 8 brother-in-laws: John, James (Puncho), Roy Maddox, Ronald Stephenson, Charles Farmer, Francis Clark, Kenneth E. Banks and James Mackall. Mrs. Maddox was a lifelong St. Mary's County resident where she was a graduate of Great Mills High School, Class of 1975. She was employed as a paraprofessional (teacher's assistant) for the St. Mary's County Board of Education for thirty years until retiring in February 2005. She enjoyed family gatherings, working in her yard, teaching her students, and spending time with her grandson Jaylin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2006 from 10:00 â?? 11:00 AM in St. George's Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Father Mark Ervin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Maddox, Steve Maddox, Kenny Krutcher, Reggie Maddox, Joseph Maddox, Jr. Tyvie Herbert, Michael Berry and Wayne Jordan.
