A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Viewing/Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Mary "May" Bernadette Green, 97 went to meet her father on January 19, 2006 at her home in Clements, MD. Born June 1, 1908 in Clements, MD she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Caroline Young Butler. She was preceded in death by her husband George Green. She is survived by her son: Joseph Aloysius Green and his wife Patricia Ann "Essie" of Clements, MD; grandchildren whom she raised: Sherry Johnson, Darrell Green, Tanya Green and Joshua Mason; the Guy family: Millie Huseman, Joanie Hartzfeld, Betty Ritter, Al, Bill and JS Guy; grandchildren: Regina Mason, Michelle Mason, Michael Mason, Cornellus Green, DeQuinte Green and Corrindi Hebb; a precious god daughter: Madelene Davis of Clements, MD; 22 great â?? grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Della Branson, Pearl Jackson, Naomi Adam, Rosie Brent and Madeline Hill. Mrs. Green was a life long St. Mary's County resident who attended Number One School. She worked as a senior companion for St. Mary's County for 75 years until her retirement in 1990. Mary took care of a numerous amount of families in the St. Mary's County District. She loved dancing, smiling, enjoying the company of family and friends, but most of all cooking big meals and making sure everyone had enough; especially on Sunday's she prepared big meals enough for a host of family and friends and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 9:30 â?? 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM with Father Keith Woods officiating.
