Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Francis Early officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation: Public Viewing & Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM Joseph Woodrow Wathen, 83, of Bushwood, MD died July 25, 2005 at his home in Bushwood, MD. Born July 02, 1922 in Bushwood, MD he was the son of the late William E. and Rosetta Pilkerton Wathen. He is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn Wathen. A full obituary will appear at a later date.
