John Kauffman Hostetler

Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Sam Hostetler's House with Bishop Amos Stolzfus officiating. Interment will follow in Woodburn Hill Cemetery. John Kauffman Hostetler, 73, of Charlotte Hall, MD died July 31, 2007 at his residence. Born June 28, 1934 in Belleville, PA he was the son of the late Rufus J. and Elizabeth F. Hostetler. He was the husband of Mary Z. Hostetler. He is survived by his children: Rufus J. Hostetler, Sam J. Hostetler, Emos J. Hostetler and Fannie A. Hostetler all of Charlotte Hall, MD, Nancy E. Hostetler of Hollywood, MD, Joseph J. Hostetler and Eli N. Hostetler both of Mechanicsville, MD; siblings: Fannie Stolzfus of Path Valley, PA, Jacob Hostetler, Ike Hostetler and Lydia Byler all of Mechanicsville, MD, David A. Hostetler of Hollywood, MD, Mollie Kurty and Neomi Zook both of Addison, NY; 20 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his children: Isaac J. Hostetler and Sareah E. Hostetler; siblings: Anna Kanagy and Joseph Hostetler. Mr. Hostetler worked as a self employed diesel mechanic. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Sam Hostetler's House with Bishop Sam Stolzfus officiating. Interment will follow in Woodburn Hill Cemetery.
