A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
George "Calvin" Yeager, 64, of Lexington Park, MD died August 5, 2007 in Washington, DC. Born June 12, 1943 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Catherine Estelle and Elmer Yeager. He is survived by his brothers Frankie & Clarence and his sisters Betty Ann and Mary C. as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Billy Yeager. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. His closest friends were Kelly, Jimmy, Mark A., Mark W., Jeffrey and Charles. He worked for several years as a lumberman at Charlotte Hall Lumber Company. Calvin was a caring and giving person and would help anyone who needed it. A memorial service will be held in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel, Leonardtown, MD on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 7:00 PM with Deacon George L'Heureux officiating.
