A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 12:15PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward M. Voorhaar officiating. Interment willl follow in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
Visitation:
Viewing and Visitation will be Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 5PM till 8PM with a Prayers Service being said at 7PM in the funeral home chapel.
Hildegarde "Hilda" B. Wolfram, 92, of Leonardtown, MD and formerly of Mechanicsville, MD, died August 19, 2007 in St. Mary's Nursing Center. Born June 24, 1915 in Oraville, MD she was the daughter of the late Egon and Anna Bohle. She was the loving wife of Andrew Wolfram whom she married on July 1, 1936 in Elkton, MD and who preceded her in death of September 11, 1989. She is survived by her daughter Josephine W. Spalding of Mechanicsville, MD and her grandchildren; Andrea Pfeiffer of Wake-Forrest, NC, Barry Spalding of Hollywood, MD and Kirk Spalding of Mechanicsville, MD. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Cally and Bryn Pfeiffer, all of Wake-Forrest, NC, and Hannah and Kendra Spalding, both of Hollywood, MD. She was preceded in death by her siblings; John E. Bohle, Anna Lingner, Margaret Lacey, Edna Menetree, Eleanora Phillips, Polly Bogie and Egon Bohle. Hilda was a homemaker who belonged to Eastern Star, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the American Red Cross. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 12:15 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Edward M. Voorhaar officiating. Interment will follow in Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.Pallbearers will be Kirk Spalding, Barry Spalding, Rick Pfeiffer, Leigh Pickell, Scott Pickell, and Charlie Lingner. Glenn Emmart will be an honorary pallbearer. Contributions may be made to Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 299, Leonardtown, MD 20650 and/or Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O.
