Services: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM in All Faith Episcopal Church, Mechanicsville, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Sarah "Inez" Dotson, 78, of Mechanicsville, MD died August 29, 2007 in Hollywood, MD. Born August 11, 1929 in LaPlata, MD she was the daughter of the late Nettie Shorter and Robert Oscar Holly. She was the loving wife of William Dotson, whom she married in 1946. She is survived by her children; Thomas Dotson and Nettie Neale, both of Mechanicsville, MD, Joan Dotson of Mesquite, TX, McKinley Dotson of San Jose, CA, Timothy Dotson of Lexington Park, MD, Mark Dotson of Hollywood, MD and Cathy Siemonh of Brandywine, MD. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and her brother George Holly of Washington, DC. She was preceded in death by her siblings Irene Duncan and Robert Holly, Jr. Inez was a homemaker who graduated from Bel Alton High School and moved to St. Mary's County 1946 from LaPlata, MD. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM in All Faith Episcopal Church, Charlotte Hall, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jim Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Absher, Joseph Dotson, Francis Neale, Mark Dotson, Jr., Tracy Johnson and Gordon Butler.
