Jimmy and I were very close and shared so many good times together. We played music and traveled overseas on a USO tour together we were inseperable. Jimmy is a hero to me. Parents shouldn’t have to bury their children, Skip and I are so sorry we no longer live in St. Mary’s County, right now we are vacationing in Florida, and we will be unable to attend any of services to offer our condolences in person. He had a wonderful smile that warmed the heats of everyone who was lucky enough to have met or known him. He was a good friend of my son Bart. Bart’s heart is broken. He and Jimmy were very close. Jimmy was a great drummer! He loved his music and the musicians who he played with, and they loved him! I have a lot of wonderful memories of Jimmy and I treasure them now and I always will. The first time I met Jimmy was at Hillbilly Heaven in Lorton Va. Bart and I were so impressed with his rock solid drumming. He will always be in our hearts. You are in our hearts and prayers. I spoke with Linda, she touched my heart as we spoke on the phone, she is so sweet, she and her family love Jimmy! I will always remember Jimmy’s great sense of humor he made me laugh so many times, and that is just one example of the many ways he brought joy into our hearts.
