She was a Schoolbus Driver for St Mary’s County for 5 tear’s and she worked for the Rod and Reel for 10 year’s.She worked all the time to keep her family going and did not take time for herself. She loved playing card’s and I enjoyed beating her at cards. We had a cook out not to long ago and my wife got Betty on her jet ski and I think that was the time of Betty’s life. Don I want to say that Betty loved you very much and to Christopher you were the love of your mom’s life.”

To her brother and family, I grieve with you too. I am sure she is missed already, but as long as we share our memories of her, a part of her remains with us. God’s comfort to all.”

  12. “Even tho we might not understand Gods reasons for what he does i know you were taken to be an angel above we were blessed to see you on the buses everyday as they were also blessed to see your smile as they all stopped by the rod and reel. god dont make mistakes and you blessed us while you were here and i know you will bend your hand down here to protect us until we are also blessed to come home as you were.”

  13. “Words cannot express the heartbreak we are feeling over the loss of Betty. We will forever cherish the memories we hold dear to our hearts of Betty. Her laugh and that smile that could light up a room. It is quite apparent that she touched the lives of many, her heart was as big as the moon, and when it came to her family she gave of herself unselfishly. Her greatess love in life was Christopher, and from her he was shown the gift of unconditional love, the meaning of hard work and the joy of laughter. We feel blessed to have had Betty in our lives. We will miss and love her always. To all the people that loved Betty and have reached out to us in her loss, especially her best friend Rose and her boss Tony, we want to express our deepest gratitude for all the love and friendship that you’ve shown Betty and her family. Rest in peace beloved sister, you are now “home” with Mom, Dad, David and SueAnn…and we now all have one more sweet guardian angel looking down over us.”
