A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church, Hollywood, MD with Fr. Raymond Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation:
Viewing/Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, where Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM.
Brian Patrick “Tadpoll” Abell, 36, of Hollywood, MD died suddenly on October 8, 2008 at Jude House in Bel Alton, MD. He was born May 20, 1972 in Leonardtown, MD to Joseph Kenneth and Ann Marie Miedzinski Abell, Sr. of Hollywood, MD. He is also survived by his wife Lisa Marie Hemler Abell, his brothers Joseph Kenneth Abell, Jr. and Vickie Tippett and David Allen Abell and his wife Bitsy, all of Hollywood, MD as well as his niece Jessica L. Abell of Leonardtown, MD and his nephew Matthew D. Abell of Hollywood, MD. A lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, Brian attended Leonardtown High School and was a house painter for different companies in St. Mary’s County. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by many. He was very active in his Bible Studies as he worked toward his recovery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD, where prayers will be said at 7:00 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shannon Gatton, Joey Lacey, Benny Johnson, Jamie Tippett, Brian Wilson and Robbie Miedzinksi. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessica L. Abell and Matthew D. Abell.
