  1. Gary, Cindy & Kirstin Norris says:

“Sorry to hear of Mr. Bauer’s passing. I first met Mr. Bauer on a field trip he went on,to Washington DC with Kirstin’s HASH class. He was a true gentleman and a class act. It was rather enjoying talking with him on the bus trip, and watch him as he interacted with the children. We later met him again through Ms. Owens and again he was always a delight to talk to. The community has lost a true gentleman and I am sure he will be missed. Mr. Joe may you rest in peace, God Bless You and your family and friends.”

  2. “Thanks for being a great neighbor. Peace be with you.”

  3. “Our sincerest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Bauer. We were saddened to learn about his passing. “

  4. “It is with great sadness that we learned of Joe’s death. From my earliest memories in Pittsburgh he was a great cousin, a great father to his children and an inspiration to all of the family. “

  5. ” With all our love and sympathy to the family, we will truly miss Joe. He was a class act and one of the good guys. We have enrolled Joe for a year to share in the Masses offered by the Franciscan Friars. May God bless him and his family.”

  6. “Your family has my deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear father. Joe was a very kind and sincere man, and he will be greatly missed. God bless him and your family.”

  7. “Joe was a wonderful man. My father, Bill Wood, cherished him. Joe let Daddy keep his boat at his house and they were not only great friends, but great fishing buddies. I am truly sorry that I missed the services. I found out about it too late. I am sure that Joe and Daddy are telling each other fisherman’s tales up in heaven. God bless. Amy”
