A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM in All Saints Episcopal Church, Avenue, MD with Rev. Kathleen Price officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends on Friday, Decemeber 3, 2010 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Mary Virginia Jameson Brown, 87, of Baltimore, MD died November 28, 2010 in St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born May 16, 1923 in Avenue, MD she was the daughter of the late Jared and Fannie Wilson Jameson. Mrs. Brown was the loving wife of Osbie Lee Brown, whom she married in Baltimore, MD and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2000. She is survived by her children; Barbara Jakubik, Mary Joyner, Linda Johnson, Anita Brown, Osbie Brown, Jr., Vera Owens all of Baltimore, MD., and Sandra Gregory of Virginia Beach, VA. Mrs. Brown is also survived by her brothers; Edward Jameson of Baltimore, MD and Jared Jameson of Avenue, MD. She is preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Quarles and siblings; Frances McCallister, Clara Hughes and Harriett Young. Mrs. Brown attended Banneker High School and worked at a Glass Company in Baltimore, MD. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends on December 3, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be recited at 7:00 PM.
