A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home chapel with Fr. Jack Kennealy officiating. Interment will follow in the Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.
Visitation:
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home chapel, Leonardtown, MD, where prayers will be recited at 7:00 PM.
Frances Marie Mozick, 85, of Leonardtown, MD formerly of Lexington Park, MD, died on August 13, 2011 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on December 3, 1925, in Park Hall, MD, she was the daughter of the late Richard M. Woodburn and Beatrice M. Woodburn. She was the loving wife of Peter P. Mozick whom she married in Washington, DC on April 23, 1965. Mrs. Mozick is survived by her siblings; Mildred Holek and Teresa Cusic both of Leonardtown, MD, Elizabeth Seligman of Greenville, SC, Mary Ellen Woodburn and Patricia A. Adams both of California, MD, Joseph F. Woodburn of Cyprus, FL, and Norris E. Woodburn of Kinsale, VA. Mrs. Mozick is preceded in death by her siblings; Adele Mattingly, Richard M. Woodburn, Jr., Charles B. Woodburn, Sr., William G. Woodburn, and Thomas Jack Woodburn. Mrs. Mozick was a secretary for American Express and Andrews Air Force Base retiring in 1980. She enjoyed; dancing, sewing, crocheting, needlework, loved music and dancing. Mrs. Mozick was a member of the Senior Vibes, and Office on Aging and she was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where prayers will be recited at 7:00 PM.
