Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD with Fr. Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Bushwood, MD. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 5:00PM-8:00PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where prayers will be recited at 7:00PM. Mary “Kate” Morgan Johnson, 59, of Bryans Road, MD, died on August 16, 2011 in Callaway, MD. Born on November 16, 1951, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Bryan F. Morgan and Anna Isbell Driscoll Morgan. She was the loving wife of Robert ‘Bob” Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sister Joan Patton of Waldorf, MD, Aunt Jean Kirkland of PA, six nieces and nephews, and four grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson graduated from Surrattsville H.S. in 1970 and was a homemaker. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her siblings; Bryan F. Morgan, Jr. of Windsor, CO, Patricia English of Bunker Hill, WV, and Nancy D. Morgan of MA. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2011 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where prayers will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Chapel with Fr. Keith Woods of officiating.
