A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM in St. George’s Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD with Msgr. Karl Chimiak officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM in St. George’s Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD.
Joseph Louis “Joe Louis” Taylor, 65, of Lexington Park, MD, formerly of Washington, DC, died on November 21, 2011 in Washington, DC. Born on January 7, 1946 in Leonardtown, MD he was the son of Mary Attaway Dyson and the late Joseph Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by his siblings; Rose Mary Taylor, Bernice Dorsey, Gladys Taylor, Chester Taylor, Theresa Taylor, William Taylor and Frances Taylor. Mr. Taylor graduated from St. Peter Claver School and worked at various jobs throuogh out his life. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in St. George’s Catholic Church, Valley Lee, MD with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:00AM with Msgr. Karl Chimiak officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be; Melvin Dorsey, Michael Carter, Francis Maddox, Steve Maddox, Kevin V. Bonds, and Joseph E. Trejo. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Taylor and Denise Woods. Arrangements provided by the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A, Leonardtown, MD.
